This book is about Leiden, a city in the province of South Holland, the Netherlands. Besides its history, it covers religion, famous people, architecture, transportation, education, occupations, windmills, museums, and the Pilgrim Fathers, among others.This book is recommended for ages 11 to 13, but there is no reason why kids a little younger or older with an interest in Dutch history shouldn’t use it.
